How a QR Memorial Works: From Scan to Tribute

QR memorials are a beautiful blend of the physical and the digital — but how do they actually work? Here’s a simple explanation of how a QR memorial works, from scan to tribute.

1. The plaque and its code

Each memorial QR plaque carries a unique QR code, permanently linked to an online tribute page created for your loved one.

2. A simple scan

Anyone can point a phone camera at the code — no app to download. The tribute page opens straight away in the phone’s browser.

3. A living tribute

The online memorial holds photographs, videos and stories, and can be added to over the years, so the memorial keeps growing.

4. A lasting connection

Whether at a graveside, in a garden or on a wall at home, family and friends can connect and remember in a moment.
