How Stonemasons Can Offer QR Memorials to Their Customers

More families are asking stonemasons/">memorial masons about adding a QR code to a headstone. For a mason, it is a simple way to offer something modern and meaningful alongside traditional craftsmanship. Here is how QR memorials work from a stonemason’s point of view.

What a QR memorial is

A small plaque carrying a unique QR code, fixed to or beside the stone. Scanning it with any smartphone opens an online memorial page the family builds — photographs, videos, a life story and messages. No app is needed.

Why families ask for it

• A headstone has room for a name and dates; the memorial page has room for a whole life.
• Relatives who live far away can visit the memorial online.
• The page can grow over the years as memories are added.

How it fits your work

QR Heaven plaques are designed to complement stonework and can be supplied for fitting alongside or into new and existing memorials. The family approves a proof before the plaque is made, and builds the memorial page themselves with our instructions — or we create it for them. That means there is nothing extra for you to manage after fitting.
