How QR Heaven Began

QR Heaven began at a graveside, during a moment of personal reflection and loss.

Standing beside the resting place of someone I loved, I realised just how little of a person’s life can be held on a traditional headstone. A name, two dates and perhaps a few carefully chosen words can never fully capture their laughter, personality, achievements, photographs or the countless memories shared with family and friends.

I wanted to create a gentle connection between a physical resting place and the memories a family carries with them.

From that idea, QR Heaven was born.

Our purpose is simple: to help families create beautiful, lasting tributes that preserve the stories, photographs, videos and special moments of the people and pets they love.

What Is QR Heaven?

QR Heaven creates beautifully designed and hand-finished memorial plaques featuring a permanent QR code.

The plaque can be placed on a headstone, memorial stone, bench, urn, remembrance area or another meaningful location. Family members and friends can scan the QR code using the camera on an ordinary smartphone — no special app is required.

The code opens a dedicated online memorial where visitors can discover and revisit a lifetime of treasured memories.
