What exactly do I receive when I order?

A physical memorial plaque engraved with your chosen name, dates and wording plus a unique QR code, together with a lasting online memorial page that you create and control from your own account.

Do I need to be good with technology?

Not at all. If you can attach a photo to an email, you can build a memorial. The form guides you step by step, you can save a draft at any point, and we are only a phone call away on 01282 708778.

What can the memorial page include?

Photographs, a biography and life story, a memorial quote, family memories, achievements and links to videos on YouTube or Vimeo. You can add to it at any time — it never affects the plaque.

Who can see the memorial?

That is entirely your choice. Make it public for anyone who scans the code, protect it with a family password, or keep it completely private to your account. You can change this at any time.

Will the QR code stop working if things change?

No. Each plaque carries a permanent address that always redirects to the memorial, even if names or web addresses change. This permanence is built into how our system works.

What happens before my plaque is made?

You approve a written proof showing exactly what will appear on the plaque, our team checks it again, and the QR code is verified — including being physically scanned on at least two different devices — before production begins.

Can I change the wording after ordering?

Yes, right up until production begins. Any change produces a new proof for you to approve. Once production starts, the details are locked so the finished plaque exactly matches what you approved; after that point we would arrange a replacement instead.

How do I add or change photos later?

Sign in to your account, open My Memorials and choose Edit memorial. Changes appear immediately and never affect the plaque or QR code.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes. Every plaque is dispatched with tracking, and the tracking number appears in your account and in your dispatch email.

How long does the memorial page last?

The memorial remains online as part of your purchase. It is not a subscription trap — please see our Terms for full details of our commitment.

Can more than one family member help build the memorial?

The memorial is managed from the purchasing account. Many families sit together to build it, and anyone can view it according to the privacy setting you choose.

What if I spot a mistake on the proof?

Choose “Something needs correcting” on the proof and we will put it right and send a new proof. Nothing is made until you are happy.

What if the plaque arrives damaged or a code will not scan?

Contact us straight away and we will arrange a replacement. Please see our Returns and Refunds page for details.

Can I buy a plaque as a gift for another family?

Yes. You can either build the memorial yourself and share it, or contact us and we will help arrange access for the family so they can build it themselves.

Do you make memorials for pets?

Yes — beloved companions are remembered here too. The process is exactly the same.
